Managing the Service

StreamOps runs as a background service; there are no commands to learn. You control streams from the dashboard. You only need these if you want to check on the app itself or restart it.

Windows

The tray icon shows whether StreamOps is running and can restart it. You can also use PowerShell (run as administrator to restart):

# Check status Get-Service StreamOps # Restart Restart-Service StreamOps

Linux

# Check status sudo systemctl status streamops # Restart sudo systemctl restart streamops # Follow the log sudo journalctl -u streamops -f

Settings

Everything you normally change, such as your video folder and encoding options, is in the dashboard under Settings → Streaming. There is no config file to edit.
