This Privacy Policy explains how StreamOps ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and the StreamOps service (collectively, the "Service").

1

Information We Collect

  • Account: your username, email address (which we ask you to verify), and a bcrypt-hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID, email address and profile picture instead of a password. We also record when you accepted our Terms and this policy, and which versions.
  • Two-factor authentication: if you turn it on, we store your authenticator secret encrypted and your recovery codes hashed.
  • Sign-in activity: each time you sign up or sign in we record the date, your IP address and your browser/device (user agent). We look up the IP address with our geolocation provider, ipapi.co, to get an approximate city, region and country. This is shown to you as your login history in Settings so you can spot sign-ins that were not you.
  • YouTube data: if you connect a YouTube channel we read your channel name, picture and description, your live broadcasts and videos (titles, descriptions, tags, privacy status, thumbnails, viewer counts), and YouTube Analytics reports for your channel (views, watch time, subscribers gained, traffic and country breakdowns). We store a daily snapshot of your subscriber and view counts to draw your growth chart; the rest is fetched when you view it.
  • Other streaming platforms: for Twitch, Facebook, Kick or a custom RTMP server you enter a server address and stream key. Stream keys are saved only on the machine running the StreamOps software — on StreamOps Cloud, the cloud server we run for you. They pass through our dashboard servers when you save them, but those do not store them.
  • Your machine: to activate the StreamOps software we bind a license key to your machine and record its machine ID, name, operating system, CPU core count, GPU model and software version. While it runs, it reports CPU, RAM and disk usage, network and upload speed, uptime, online status and the number of active streams about every 30 seconds.
  • Streams and schedules: stream names and settings, playlists (video file names, not the videos), schedules, the titles, descriptions, tags and thumbnails you schedule for YouTube, stream event history (started, stopped, crashed) and notifications.
  • Images on our servers: so the dashboard can show them, the StreamOps software may send us a thumbnail frame from your videos and, while a screen-sharing stream is live, a preview snapshot of the outgoing picture (including your camera overlay if you use one), refreshed every few seconds. Thumbnails you upload for scheduled streams are also stored.
  • StreamOps Cloud: the videos you upload or import, their file names, sizes, length and quality, and a history of what was uploaded, imported, processed or deleted. For an import we keep the Google Drive file ID or Dropbox link (the link encrypted) until the video has been processed. If you connect Google Drive, we store an encrypted Google token that can only open the files you pick.
  • Payments: Razorpay processes your payment. We receive the order, subscription and payment IDs, plan, amount and status. We never see or store your full card, UPI or bank details.
  • Team invitations: the email address of anyone you invite to your team.
  • Messages you send us: support and contact requests, and the email address you send them from.
2

What We Do Not Collect

  • If you run StreamOps on your own machine, your video files stay on it. The software reads them from a folder you choose; there is no upload to StreamOps servers, and we never receive, copy or store those videos.
  • On StreamOps Cloud we store only what we need to stream: the processed copy of each video. The file you uploaded or imported is deleted once it has been processed, or within 24 hours if processing fails. We do not watch your videos or use them to train AI; processing only reads the format of each file to convert it, and takes one frame as its thumbnail.
  • Screen, camera and microphone capture happen on your machine and are sent straight to the platforms you stream to. The only part we receive is the preview snapshot described above. (Screen sharing is not available on StreamOps Cloud.)
3

How We Use Your Information

  • To run the service: start, stop, schedule and monitor your streams, update your YouTube broadcasts, and show your dashboards and analytics.
  • To activate your license and enforce plan limits (such as concurrent streams), device binding and expiry.
  • To keep your account secure: verify your email, run two-factor sign-in, show your login history and detect misuse.
  • To email you about your account (verification, password reset, account changes), billing, and stream problems such as crashes or failed starts. You can turn off stream alert emails in Settings; account and billing emails cannot be turned off while you have an account.
  • To diagnose problems, support you and improve reliability.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4

AI Features

  • StreamOps' AI features (health diagnostics, title and description suggestions, scheduling suggestions, analytics summaries and the AI assistant) are powered by Google's Gemini API. They only run when you use them, and only on plans that include them.
  • To answer a request we send Gemini the data that request needs, which can include your stream health metrics, stream event history, video titles, descriptions and tags, schedules, analytics summaries, your channel description and any custom instructions you have written.
  • AI output is a suggestion. Nothing is changed on your streams or channel until you approve it.
  • We keep your suggestions and their history, and build a searchable index of them and of your stream event history (using Gemini to create the index) so the assistant can answer questions about your own streams. This index is only ever searched for your team. We also record how many AI requests you make, to apply plan limits.
5

Google User Data

  • StreamOps' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • StreamOps uses YouTube API Services. By using StreamOps, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
  • We request two Google permissions: managing your YouTube account (to create and update live broadcasts, bind streams, set titles, descriptions and thumbnails, and read your channel and videos) and read-only YouTube Analytics (for your analytics dashboards).
  • On StreamOps Cloud you can also connect Google Drive to import videos. That asks for one more permission, limited to the files you pick in Google's file picker — we cannot see the rest of your Drive. Its token is encrypted at rest the same way, and you can disconnect it from Settings.
  • We use this data only to provide the features you use. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or let people read it except where needed for security, to comply with the law, or with your permission (for example, to help with a support request).
  • Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM.
  • You can disconnect your channel at any time from Settings. This revokes our access at Google and deletes your stored tokens and channel snapshots. You can also revoke access from your Google Account permissions page.
  • Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
6

Teams, API Keys and Connected AI Apps

  • Teams: people you invite to your team can see and, depending on their role, change the team's streams, schedules, connected channel, analytics and notifications.
  • API keys: you can create API keys in Settings to let tools act on your account. We store only a hash of each key. Anyone holding a key can act as you within its permissions until you revoke it.
  • Connected AI apps (MCP): if you connect an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to StreamOps, it can read your StreamOps data and, if you allow it, take actions on your account. What that app does with the data is governed by its own privacy policy. You can disconnect it at any time from Settings.
7

Cookies & Website Analytics

  • Our public website (streamops.live) uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and move through the site. It sets cookies and collects a truncated IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, referring URL, pages viewed, and clicks on our signup buttons.
  • This data is used only in aggregate to measure which pages and campaigns bring people to StreamOps. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
  • You can opt out at any time by using your browser's cookie controls, blocking analytics scripts, or installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking it does not affect any StreamOps functionality.
  • The StreamOps dashboard and the software you install do not run website analytics. The cookies they set are strictly necessary to keep you signed in.
8

Who We Share Data With

  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • We share data only with the providers that run parts of StreamOps for us, and only what each one needs: Google (YouTube APIs, Google sign-in, the Gemini API for AI features, and Google Analytics on our website), Razorpay (payments), ipapi.co (approximate location of sign-in IP addresses), our email provider (to send account and alert emails), and our cloud hosting and database providers — for StreamOps Cloud, also the server providers that run your cloud server and our storage provider (Cloudflare R2), where your videos are kept. When you import from Dropbox or a Google Drive link, we download the file from Dropbox or Google.
  • The platforms you stream to (YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Kick or your own server) receive your stream directly from your machine — or from your cloud server on StreamOps Cloud — under their own terms.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
9

Data Retention

  • We keep your account data while your account is open. Sign-in history is kept with your account so you can review it.
  • StreamOps Cloud videos are kept while your Cloud plan is active. When the plan ends (cancelled or unpaid), your cloud server is paused and its videos and stream settings are deleted 7 days later. The history of uploads, imports and deletions is kept for 90 days.
  • Screen-sharing preview snapshots are overwritten every few seconds while a stream is live. The latest snapshot and your video thumbnails stay until you delete your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Deleting it cancels any subscription; revokes our access to your Google/YouTube account; deletes your schedules and their thumbnails, connected channels and snapshots, notifications, team invitations, API keys, sign-in history, AI suggestions and AI history, and the images stored from your machine; removes your username, email address, password, profile picture and two-factor settings; and removes your machine's details from our records.
  • The StreamOps software on your machine is told to stop streaming and erase your license, stream settings (including stream keys) and preview images. If the machine is offline, this happens the next time it connects. Your video files are yours and stay on your machine. On StreamOps Cloud, deleting your account deletes your cloud server, its stream settings and all your stored videos, and disconnects Google Drive.
  • We keep payment records (amount, plan, date and payment IDs) for as long as tax and accounting law requires, linked to an anonymised account record. If you are a member of someone else's team, what you did in that team (for example, schedules you created) stays with that team.
  • You can also ask us to delete your account by contacting us.
10

Security

  • Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored or logged in plain text. Google tokens and two-factor secrets are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM; API keys and recovery codes are stored only as hashes.
  • Sessions use short-lived tokens backed by rotating refresh tokens, carried in HttpOnly cookies. Signing in again revokes your earlier refresh tokens.
  • The license file on your machine is encrypted and tied to that machine. Data is encrypted in transit, and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it.
  • No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11

Your Rights

  • Depending on where you live (including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated.
  • You can update your email and password and delete your account yourself in Settings. For anything else, contact us at the address below. We will respond within one month.
12

Children

  • StreamOps is not meant for anyone under 18, and you must be 18 or older to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
13

Changes to This Policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "last updated" date. For material changes, we will also notify you by email or in the dashboard before they take effect.
14

Contact & Grievance Officer

  • Questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, requests to exercise your rights, and complaints can be sent to our Grievance Officer at privacy@streamops.live. We will acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within one month.
