Installation

Windows

1
Download the installer

Get it from the Download page and run it. Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit.

2
Activate in your browser

The installer opens your browser. Sign in to StreamOps and approve this device. The installer carries on by itself once you do.

3
Done

StreamOps installs and starts as a Windows service, so it keeps running after you sign out and starts again when the PC restarts. A tray icon shows whether it is running.

Linux

1
Download and extract

Get the Linux package from the Download page and extract it.

2
Run the installer

From the extracted folder, run sudo ./install.sh. On Debian and Ubuntu it installs FFmpeg for you.

3
Activate in your browser

Follow the prompt: sign in to StreamOps in your browser and approve this device.

4
Done

StreamOps installs and starts as the streamops systemd service.

FFmpeg

StreamOps needs FFmpeg. The Windows installer checks for it and warns you if it is missing; install it and make sure it is on your PATH.
