Introduction

StreamOps runs 24/7 live streams from your own videos, your screen, or both. It has two parts:

  • The StreamOps app — Installs on your Windows PC or Linux server and runs in the background as a service. It reads your videos, encodes them with FFmpeg, and sends the stream to your platforms.
  • The StreamOps dashboard — A web app where you create streams, set schedules, connect YouTube, read analytics and get notifications. It works from any browser.

How they connect

Your videos never leave your machine. The app connects out to StreamOps over a secure connection and waits for instructions from the dashboard, so you don't need to open ports or set up port forwarding.

On StreamOps Cloud

There is no app to install. The same engine runs on a server we manage, and you upload your videos or import them from Google Drive or Dropbox in the dashboard. Installation and the machine-side pages here apply only when StreamOps runs on your own PC; everything in the dashboard works the same on both.
