In short
- LiveReacting is a cloud service built around interactive streams: polls, trivia, countdowns and giveaways.
- StreamOps is built to keep playlist streams running unattended, on your own PC or on StreamOps Cloud. It has no interactive overlays.
- LiveReacting's 24/7 plan is $39.99 a month per stream. StreamOps Cloud is $15, and StreamOps on your own PC is free for one stream.
- On LiveReacting, 60 fps and 4K multiply the plan price. Its regular plans cap how long a stream can run.
- Want audience participation: LiveReacting. Want a channel that runs itself: StreamOps.
Introduction
These two get compared because both can keep a channel live around the clock. But they started from different questions. LiveReacting asks how to make a live stream more engaging. StreamOps asks how to keep one running when nobody is there.
We make StreamOps. What is said here about LiveReacting comes from LiveReacting's own pricing page and its 24/7 streaming page as they read on 9 October 2026. Check them before you decide.
Two Different Ideas
- LiveReacting runs in the cloud. You upload or import videos, add interactive elements in its studio, and the stream plays from its servers. Always-on streaming is one of several plans.
- StreamOps runs on your own machine, or on StreamOps Cloud. On your machine you point it at a folder of videos; on Cloud you upload or import them. Either way you build a playlist and it streams, restarting itself when something goes wrong. Always-on streaming is the whole product.

Interactive Features
This is LiveReacting's reason to exist, and StreamOps has nothing to match it. LiveReacting can put a poll on screen whose bars move as viewers vote, run trivia games, show countdowns that switch scenes when they end, display viewer comments over the video, and draw giveaway winners from the chat.
StreamOps does not draw anything on the stream. It plays your videos as they are, so anything you want viewers to see has to be in the video file.
If interaction is the point, stop here
For a quiz channel, a countdown stream or a show built on audience votes, LiveReacting is the right tool and StreamOps is not. The rest of this comparison is for channels that simply need to stay on air.
Pricing
| LiveReacting 24/7 plan | StreamOps on your PC | StreamOps Cloud | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 stream, monthly | $39.99 | Free | ₹1,499, $15 (Cloud 1) |
| 1 stream, billed yearly | $33 / month | Free | About $15 / month (₹14,990 a year) |
| 5 streams, monthly | About $154 | ₹999, about $12 (Creator) | ₹6,999, about $84 (Cloud 5) |
| 15 streams, monthly | About $462 | ₹2,999, about $36 (Pro) | ₹18,999, about $229 (Cloud 15) |
LiveReacting takes 4% off for two streams, 6% for three and 23% from four; its totals above are the list price with that discount. On 9 October 2026 it was also showing a lower promotional price, so check its page. A year of StreamOps Cloud costs ten months. StreamOps is billed in rupees and the dollar figures are approximate; full plans are on the pricing page. The “on your PC” figures do not include the machine and internet connection you run it on.
Which LiveReacting Plan Is 24/7?
Worth knowing before you sign up: LiveReacting's regular plans limit how long a single stream can run.
| Plan | Monthly price | Longest stream |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 30 minutes |
| Small | $19.99 | 1 hour |
| Medium | $39.99 | 3 hours |
| Large | $99.99 | 8 hours |
| Enterprise | $249.99 | 24 hours |
| 24/7 Streaming | $39.99 | No limit |
For an always-on channel the plan to look at is 24/7 Streaming, which is separate from the Small-to-Enterprise ladder and includes video playlists.
Getting Videos In
LiveReacting is convenient if your videos already live online: it imports from Google Drive, Dropbox and YouTube links as well as direct upload, with 100 GB of storage on the 24/7 plan.
StreamOps on your own PC skips the step. Videos stay in a folder on the machine, and it picks up new files as you add them. There is no storage limit because it is your disk. Files in mismatched formats are converted before they play.
StreamOps Cloud works more like LiveReacting here: upload in the browser, or import from a Google Drive or Dropbox link, with 25 GB of storage per stream on your plan. It does not import from YouTube links.
Resolution & Frame Rate
LiveReacting's 24/7 plan is 1080p at 30 fps. Moving to 60 fps costs 1.5 times the plan price, 4K costs twice, and 4K at 60 fps costs three times.
StreamOps on your own PC is not priced by resolution or frame rate. What you can send is set by your machine and your upload speed instead — a real limit of its own. StreamOps Cloud streams at HD (4.5 Mbps) and, from Cloud 10, also at Ultra (8 Mbps); it has no 4K or 60 fps option. See the best settings for YouTube Live for what each resolution needs.
Unattended Running
LiveReacting says its streams play from its servers and restart on another server if one fails, so your computer can be off. That is the cloud advantage, it is real, and StreamOps Cloud has it too.
On your own PC, StreamOps has to do the same job on hardware it does not control, so recovery is most of what it does — and the same recovery runs on StreamOps Cloud: it restarts a stream after a crash, a dropped connection or a reboot, alerts you when a stream fails to start or keeps crashing, and can create a new YouTube broadcast if YouTube ended the old one. See why your 24/7 stream keeps ending.
When to Choose LiveReacting
- Your stream is built around audience participation: polls, trivia, countdowns, giveaways.
- You want viewer comments shown on screen.
- You need 60 fps or 4K, which StreamOps Cloud does not offer.
- You want more cloud storage than StreamOps Cloud's 25 GB per stream; the 24/7 plan has 100 GB.
- Your videos are on YouTube and you want to import them directly.
When to Choose StreamOps
- You need a channel that plays a playlist around the clock and looks after itself.
- You have a PC or server that can stay on: one always-on stream is free.
- You have no machine to leave on: StreamOps Cloud costs less per stream than LiveReacting's 24/7 plan.
- You run several channels: on your own PC, one plan covers up to 15.
- Your library is larger than 100 GB, or you do not want to upload it — run it on your own PC.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between LiveReacting and StreamOps?
LiveReacting is a cloud service built around interactive streams — polls, trivia, countdowns and giveaways — with a separate plan for 24/7 streaming. StreamOps keeps playlist streams running unattended, either as software you install on your own PC or server, or on StreamOps Cloud, where we run it for you. It has no interactive overlays.
Is StreamOps a free alternative to LiveReacting?
For a plain 24/7 stream on your own machine, yes: the StreamOps free plan runs one always-on stream with no time limit. StreamOps Cloud has no free plan, but you can try it free for 12 hours. Neither is an alternative for interactive streams, because StreamOps has no polls, games or on-screen chat.
How much does LiveReacting cost for 24/7 streaming?
On 9 October 2026 LiveReacting listed its 24/7 Streaming plan at $39.99 a month per stream, or $33 a month billed yearly, at 1080p and 30 fps. Two streams take 4% off the total, three 6%, and four or more 23%. 60 fps costs 1.5 times the plan price and 4K costs twice.
Can I stream 24/7 on LiveReacting's free plan?
No. The free plan is limited to streams of up to 30 minutes, three streams a month, at 720p with a watermark. Always-on streaming needs the 24/7 Streaming plan.
Does StreamOps have polls or trivia games?
No. StreamOps plays your videos as they are and does not draw interactive elements on the stream.
Which is cheaper for several 24/7 streams?
StreamOps, either way. Five streams on LiveReacting's 24/7 plan come to about $154 a month at list price, after its 23% volume discount. StreamOps Cloud 5 is ₹6,999 a month (about $84), and on your own machine StreamOps Creator covers up to 5 streams for ₹999 (about $12), plus the machine and upload bandwidth.
Do I need to keep a computer on with StreamOps?
Only if you run it on your own machine: then it has to stay on and connected, whether it is your own PC or a rented Linux server. With StreamOps Cloud, as with LiveReacting, nothing of yours has to stay on.
Conclusion
Choose by what the stream is for. If viewers are meant to do something, LiveReacting has the tools and StreamOps does not. If the stream is meant to be there, reliably, with nobody watching over it, StreamOps is built for that — free for one stream on your own PC, or on StreamOps Cloud for less per stream than LiveReacting’s 24/7 plan.
