Introduction
OneStream Live and StreamOps can both keep a channel live around the clock from videos you recorded earlier. They come at it from different directions: OneStream is a general cloud streaming service that added 24/7 streaming, and StreamOps exists only for always-on streams.
We make StreamOps, so this is not a neutral review. What follows about OneStream comes from its pricing page and its 24/7 streaming page as they read on 9 October 2026. Check them before you decide — prices change.
The Real Difference
- OneStream runs everything on its servers. StreamOps runs on your own Windows or Linux machine, or on StreamOps Cloud, where we run it for you.
- On OneStream, 24/7 streaming is an extra: included on Enterprise, a paid add-on on every other paid plan. On StreamOps it is the product, on every plan including Free.
- OneStream's 24/7 streaming is YouTube only and stops after at most 30 days. StreamOps has neither limit.

Yearly billing takes about 20% off OneStream's plan prices. Its pricing page does not say how many 24/7 streams one plan runs at once, so if you need several channels, ask OneStream before you buy.
StreamOps Cloud is priced by streams, with 24/7 and every Pro feature on every plan: Cloud 1 is ₹1,499 a month ($15), Cloud 5 ₹6,999 (about $84) and Cloud 10 ₹12,999 (about $157). A year costs ten months. On your own PC, one stream is free and Creator covers up to 5 for ₹999 a month (about $12). StreamOps is billed in rupees, and the dollar figures are approximate; see StreamOps pricing.
On your own PC, count the machine too
The StreamOps price for your own PC does not include the computer, electricity or internet connection. If you would rent a server only for this, add its monthly price before you compare.
24/7 Beyond YouTube
OneStream's 24/7 page describes non-stop channels on YouTube, running for up to 30 days in one go. That covers most 24/7 channels, but not all. If you want an always-on stream on Twitch, Facebook or Kick, or a channel that runs for months without being restarted, that is a point for StreamOps: it streams 24/7 to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Kick and any custom RTMP address, and a stream keeps going until you stop it.
Sending the same 24/7 stream to several platforms at once is in StreamOps Creator and above, and in every StreamOps Cloud plan. See multistreaming to YouTube, Twitch and Kick.
Where Your Videos Live
On OneStream you upload videos to its storage: 5 GB on Basic, 20 GB on Standard, 50 GB on Professional and 150 GB on Enterprise. Monthly bandwidth is also capped by plan, from 0.5 TB on Basic to 5 TB on Enterprise.
StreamOps Cloud gives 25 GB of storage per stream. You upload videos in the browser, up to 20 GB each, or import them from a Google Drive or Dropbox link; each video is processed once for streaming. On your own PC there is no upload at all: StreamOps plays straight from a folder on your disk, whatever its size.
Playlists & Scheduling
OneStream loops your videos automatically and lets you schedule playlists up to 60 days ahead.
StreamOps loops a playlist on every plan, including Free. Creator and above, and every StreamOps Cloud plan, add two kinds of scheduling: a scheduled live broadcast that goes live and ends at set times, and automation that plays a chosen video at set times on a stream that is already running. See stream scheduling.
When to Choose OneStream
- You mostly run live shows and multistream them to many destinations, and 24/7 is a side job.
- You need more destinations than StreamOps supports; OneStream lists up to 50.
- Your 24/7 channel is on YouTube only, and a restart every 30 days is fine.
When to Choose StreamOps
- Always-on streaming is the job, and you do not want to pay an add-on for it.
- You want 24/7 on Twitch, Facebook or Kick, not only YouTube.
- You want a stream that runs for months without a 30-day restart.
- You have a machine that can stay on: run it there, free for one stream. If not, StreamOps Cloud runs it from $15 a month.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between OneStream Live and StreamOps?
OneStream Live is a cloud live-streaming service that does many things: multistreaming to up to 50 destinations, scheduled pre-recorded streams, and 24/7 streaming as one feature among them. StreamOps is built only for always-on streaming from pre-recorded video, and runs either on your own PC or on StreamOps Cloud, our servers.
Does OneStream Live include 24/7 streaming?
Only on its Enterprise plan, $139 a month on 9 October 2026. On Basic, Standard and Professional, 24-hour streaming is a $30-a-month add-on. The free plan does not include it.
Can OneStream Live stream 24/7 to Twitch or Facebook?
Not on 9 October 2026: OneStream's 24/7 page describes 24/7 streaming on YouTube only. StreamOps streams 24/7 to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Kick or any custom RTMP address.
How long can a OneStream 24/7 stream run?
OneStream says up to 30 days straight. StreamOps has no run limit: a stream keeps going until you stop it, and restarts itself if it crashes.
Which is cheaper for one 24/7 stream?
StreamOps. The cheapest 24/7 setup on OneStream is Basic at $15 plus the $30 add-on, $45 a month at 720p, or $69 at 1080p on Standard. StreamOps Cloud 1 is ₹1,499 a month ($15), and StreamOps on your own PC is free for one stream.
Is there a free plan?
Both have one, but OneStream's free plan does not include 24-hour streaming. The StreamOps free plan runs one always-on stream on your own PC with no time limit and no watermark. StreamOps Cloud has no free plan, but you can try it free for 12 hours.
Conclusion
OneStream Live is the better fit if 24/7 is one small part of a multistreaming setup. If an always-on channel is the point, StreamOps does it for less, on more platforms and with no run limit: $15 a month on StreamOps Cloud against OneStream's $45 at 720p, or free on a machine you already have.
